12/18 - My christmas nightmare wish list

Every time I go to Wal-mart and go near the battery section I have to pause and stare at the batteries. After a few moment I walk on but I would like to share with you just what is going on in this brain of mine in just those few moments that end up in a headache beginning to form.
I first notice the "D" batteries and think maybe I should get some. I have four flashlights, a tv-am-fm triple cassette player and a portable cassette player that I do my tarot readings on.But then I spot the "C" batteries and think of my other two flashlights, my back-up cassette player, my room to room monitors and my multi-band short wave radio. Now, what I probably should get are the "AA" bateries for my two bedroom remotes, my camera so I can take holiday pictures. I can also use some for my reciever to my room to room monitors and I really need some for my candles I put in my windows for the holidays.
Wait a minute I can"t forget my ditigal camera. No I think I should wait on everything else and get the "AAA"s. Without them I will have no remotes for my two tv's downstairs and my fax copier telephone. Then as I reach for the "AAA"s I noticed the 9volt batteries and remember that I haven't changed the fire alarm batteriesand while I am at it I can pick up one for our mail scale that we have been without for some time.Just below those 9volts that I needed so much was the 6volt and I have three flashlights that sure could use them.Thank goodness I don't see the battery for my watch or the batteries for my cordless phone, not that I don't need them, because I do. I just don't have the size with me. So I went home and sat down and I said to myself "self", what is it that you really need in that battery department and you go right up there to Wal-marts and you face that demon thats giving you those headaches and you grab them. So I did a practical deduction and came up with the fact that I shall get the 9volt batteries because if I don't I might not have any need for the rest of them if my fire alarms are not working. So to all my friends and relatives, this is my Christmas wish list..... 22 "D" batteries, 16 "C" batteries, 28 "AA" batteries, 8 "AAA" batteries, 5 9volt batteries, 3 6volt batteries, 1 watch battery, 1 camcorder battery and batteries for my cordless phone. Now, that was my list and this is my wish....never to face that demon that lurks in the battery department ever again.
Note...If you gave anyone somthing last year for Christmas that runs on batteries maybe they would like batteries this year.
